Man pronounced dead at foot of Jurong West block

A man was found dead at the foot of Block 516 Jurong West Street 52 on Friday night (Aug 25).

Sharing a photo of a police tent at the block, Stomper Jimmy said the man's family lives on the 14th storey.

A resident told Stomp that a neighbour saw the man fall from height and heard a loud impact.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at about 8pm to a case of unnatural death at the block.

The 36-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police said based on preliminary investigations, they do not suspect foul play, adding that investigations are ongoing.
