A 33-year-old man was found dead in the grass next to a Bukit Panjang block on Thursday afternoon (July 13).

The police told Stomp that based on preliminary investigations, no foul play is suspected.

The body was discovered by Stomper Koh.

"I was at the opposite block in my home when I heard a loud thud at around 12.45pm," she recounted.

"I was curious and went down to investigate where I discovered a motionless man on the grass patch beside Block 235 Bukit Panjang Ring Road. I called the ambulance at 12.49pm. They arrived five minutes later."

The Stomper shared photos of police officers placing a blue tent over the body.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at the block at about 12.50pm.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedic.

Police investigations are ongoing.
