Man comes face-to-face with wild boar while making food delivery

Food delivery delays can happen for many reasons: bad weather, overwhelming orders, and even wild boars.

A food delivery rider encountered a wild boar while on the job.

In a video circulating online, the man is heard telling the animal to get out of the way in Malay.

He says: "Move, I want to make a delivery."

He repeatedly tries to shoo it away but it refuses to budge from in front of his parked motorcycle.

Here's what you should do when you encounter a wild boar:

• Be calm and move slowly away from the animal. Do not approach or attempt to feed the animal.

• Keep a safe distance and do not corner or provoke the animal i.e. by using a flash while taking pictures of it.

• If you see adults with young piglets, leave them alone. These are potentially more dangerous because they may attempt to defend their young.
