In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a road traffic accident near 110 MacPherson Road at about 3:35pm.

"SCDF conveyed one person to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and another person to Raffles Hospital," said SCDF.

When contacted by Stomp, police said a 73-year-old male car driver and a 59-year-old female cyclist were conscious when taken to the hospital.

Police added that a 51-year-old male car driver is assisting in investigations, which are ongoing.

A Facebook user named Rosee Kaif commented on one of the accident videos: "My mom was the pedestrian with the bicycle on the pavement who got hit by the car and is currently in the hospital."

She asked for witnesses to message her.
