Man arrested for suspected drink driving after car accident at Bukit Panjang junction

A 28-year-old man was arrested for suspected drink driving after he got into a car accident in Bukit Panjang in the wee hours of Wednesday (Aug 10).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car at the junction of Bukit Panjang Road and Pending Road at 3.19am.

They added: "A 28-year-old male driver was arrested for suspected drink driving."

A Stomper shared photos of the scene at around 5am. He said the accident took place near a wet market and a mosque.

Police investigations are ongoing.
