Man arrested for drink driving after car crashes into restaurant at Jalan Eunos

A 37-year-old driver was arrested for drink driving after his car crashed into a restaurant at the junction of Jalan Kechot and Jalan Eunos on Monday night (Mar 16).

Several Stompers alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and videos at Kim's Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee.

Broken tables, chairs, plates and cutlery were seen strewn on the ground.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 11.32pm.

"A 37-year-old man was arrested for drink driving," a police spokesman said.

No injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing.
