A 23-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of attempted robbery along Sentosa Gateway.
In a statement, the police said that a 34-year-old woman reported on Feb 17 at about 6.20am that an unknown man had attempted to rob her while she was waiting for a taxi.
With the aid of CCTV images and after conducting extensive ground enquiries, Clementi Police Division officers established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on Feb 22.
Anyone convicted of the offence of armed robbery, may face two to seven years' jail and at last six strokes of the cane.
