Man arrested for allegedly setting motorcycle on fire in Bedok North

A 55-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of mischief by fire.
At about 4.30am on Wednesday (Dec 25), the police were alerted to a case of fire along Bedok North Road where a motorcycle was burnt.
There were no injuries or casualties reported.
Through ground enquiries and images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division identified the man and arrested him on Sunday (Dec 29).
The man will be charged in court on Monday (Dec 30) with mischief by fire.
If convicted, he will face a jail term of up to seven years and a fine.
