Man arrested after failing to report for urine test, insulting and causing hurt to public servant

A 38-year-old man was arrested for multiple offences at Block 70 Geylang Bahru on Monday morning (Sep 15).

The offences are failure to report for urine test, voluntarily causing hurt to deter a public servant from the discharge of his duty and using insulting words against a public servant in the execution of duty.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at the block at 9.37am and arrested the man.

Stomper Anonymous, a resident in the vicnity, heard shouting at around 10.30am.

Anonymous sent photos showing police cars at the scene and said: "An ambulance came too."

Investigations by the Police and Central Narcotics Bureau are ongoing.
