Man, 42, taken to hospital after his car crashes into road divider in Yishun

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital after the car he was driving crashed into a central road divider along Yishun Avenue 9 on Thursday night (Oct 12).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a photo she took of the car.

"I was talking to my mum when I heard a loud screeching and then a bang," she said.

"I ran outside to this.

"Thankfully none of the pedestrians were injured."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 11.57pm.

"A 42-year-old male driver was conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesperson said. 

Police investigations are ongoing.
