Lorry mounts kerb and crashes into traffic light at Lorong 6 Toa Payoh

A lorry mounted a kerb and crashed into a traffic light at the slip road from Lorong 6 Toa Payoh to Kim Keat Link on Tuesday evening (Aug 13).

Stompers Ms Koh and Wei Sien alerted Stomp to the incident.

Ms Koh told Stomp she was travelling on bus service 238 towards Toa Payoh Bus Interchange at about 5.25pm when she passed by the scene.

Wei Sien shared photos of the damaged lorry that he took as he was walking past the accident site at about 7.20pm.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said int was alerted to the accident at about 5.10pm.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
