A lorry caught fire along Woodlands Avenue 6 on May 9.

Stompers Krishna and Kamal alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and videos of the burning vehicle with the words King Koil on its side.

In one of the clips, the lorry is burnt down to its frame as firefighters work to extinguish the fire.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the fire at about 6.45pm.

"The fire involved the rear compartment of a lorry," an SCDF spokesperson said.

It was extinguished using two compressed air foam backpacks and a hose reel.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
