A man paid a company $4,724.68 for a smart home lighting system for his new BTO but was left with no lights in his master bedroom and toilets.

Stomper Andrew said he made the full payment in advance.

"However, the job has been left incomplete," he said, sharing a video of the unfinished installation in his Marsiling home after more than two months.

"The LED lights are hanging out without the necessary corner pieces. Additionally, the integration of the system has not been completed, leading to frequent software issues.

"As a result, I do not have functioning lights in both my toilets and the master bedroom. We go to the toilet in darkness most of the time."

He also shared a photo of the monitor panel, which said: "Unable to connect to your hub."

The Stomper explained: "This monitor panel is the main control. We depend on the panel for control, but it sometimes works and most of the time, it doesn't work.

He said he had contacted the company multiple times to ask them to finish the job or return his money.

"They have not taken any steps to rectify the situation. They have also ceased responding to my calls and messages," said the Stomper, who has made a police report.

Stomp has contacted the company for more info.
