Why you should always wait for your bags to go through X-ray machine before walking away

We are all familiar with putting our belongings through X-ray machines at high-security areas like airports and concert venues.

However, many of us take the security of our belongings for granted by walking towards the front of the machine before waiting for our bags to go through it.

Stomper Jeffrey alerted Stomp to a video circulating online demonstrating how dangerous this habit can be.

In the video, a woman places her handbag on the conveyor belt and walks away from it.

A man behind her appears to be waiting his turn but instead, he grabs the woman's bag just before it goes through the X-ray and quickly tucks it under his bag before walking away in the opposite direction.
