Former classmates from Naval Base Secondary School (NBSS) have proven that the bonds you make in school can last for a lifetime.

Stomper Michelle shared with Stomp that she and her friends from class 4T1 in 1981 are looking for one of their classmates, Aw Lay Kheng.

They came together in 2015 to celebrate their 50th birthday together but Ms Aw's presence was missed.

"We tried to find Ms Aw Lay Kheng but our efforts were in vain," said Michelle.

"For our 50th, about 200 schoolmates from our cohort attended, some coming from nine other countries.

"It was a joyous occasion since most have not seen each other since we left NBSS at 16!

"Our teachers were very happy too!"

Now, Michelle and her friends are planning to celebrate their 60th birthday together in 2025.

She said: "This time, we hope to find her before the big event!"
