Singapore is a first world country of progress, economic development and technological advancements.

But when it comes to the behaviour of some people, there is still a lot left to be desired.

Just look at the multiple reports of users abusing shared bicycles by vandalising them and dumping them at inappropriate spots.

Stomper Hwang was incensed when she came across a bicycle that had been left in a drain along Sea Avenue Residences, near 112 Katong.

She said: "These photos were taken yesterday (March 12) but this happens every night.

"1st world country, 3rd world behaviour."
