About 20 people self-evacuated from Tampines East Community Club after a fire broke out in a kitchen on Monday night (Apr 12).
Stomper Roy alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and videos he took of emergency response vehicles outside a McDonald's outlet at the community club.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to a fire at 10 Tampines Street 23 at 9.50pm.
"About 20 people self-evacuated prior to the arrival of the SCDF," an SCDF spokesman said.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
