'Everything about this e-scooter rider with a passenger onboard is wrong'

An electric scooter rider not only flouted traffic rules by riding on the road but also had a passenger with him.

This e-scooter rider was also caught on camera by another driver on the same day along the same stretch of road, with an accompanying video showing him swerving through vehicles.

He reportedly travelled from Yishun Avenue 11 to Yishun Avenue 6 on Aug 3, according to a caption that accompanied a post by ROADS.sg.

In a video that was posted on the Facebook page, he is seen turning out from a lane before speeding straight ahead on the road.

A passenger is also seen sitting cross-legged in front of him.

The post read: "Everything about this e-scooter rider with a kid onboard is wrong," and proceeded to list down five mistakes.

It explained that Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) were not allowed on roads and that the rider was obviously going above the speed limit of 25km/h.

Other mistakes included "illegal modifications" and the rider "being reckless and irresponsible" by endangering the passenger that was on the device as well.

Netizens also criticised the rider for his dangerous act.
