Driver gets a shock by Merc making 90-degree lane change in KPE tunnel

A motorist was taken aback by the antics of a Mercedes-Benz driver in the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) tunnel.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook group page.

According to the post, the incident happened on Feb 6.

In the video, a green Mercedes-Benz A-Class car is seen driving on the rightmost lane of the expressway before suddenly cutting across three lanes to get to the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) exit.

The post describes the manoeuvre as a "90-degree lane change".

The Merc driver stops just in time as the oncoming car recording the footage honks at him.

Netizens have slammed the Merc driver's driving and urged the other motorist to report him to the Traffic Police.
