Cyclist runs 3 red lights from Stamford Road to Penang Road, then skids and falls to avoid bus

A cyclist was caught on video cycling through red lights from Stamford Road to Penang Road before skidding and falling in the middle of a traffic junction on June 29.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident that was posted on ROADS.sg's Facebook page.

In the video, the cyclist is first seen running a red light at Stamford Road at around 9.06am

He then runs another one before reaching a junction along Penang Road where he skids and falls in an attempt to avoid a bus making a right turn.

A message at the end of the video reads: "Dear cyclists, yes -- the traffic lights and rules apply to you too. They keep you safe."
