Bubble tea connoisseurs, your help is needed!

Can you tell the difference between brown sugar pearl and aloe vera topping from photos alone?

A LiHo customer ordered a large jasmine milk tea with brown sugar pearls with less ice and 50 per cent sugar on Jan 9.

But instead of brown sugar pearls, Stomper Moshi believes she got aloe vera instead.

So much so that she sent photos of the drink to LiHo Singapore with the message: "Let me know if that's the brown sugar pearl."

Based on the photos alone, LiHo Singapore confirmed: "Yes, it is brown sugar pearl."

The Stomper is not convinced.

Moshi told Stomp: "LiHo insisted the topping given was brown sugar pearl when it was actually aloe vera topping.

"There was no brown sugar in the bubble tea at all, but they claimed the aloe vera was brown sugar pearl."

Who is right?

Brown sugar pearls are usually dark brown and spherical whereas aloe vera topping is typically translucent white and cuboid.
