Crawler machine topples off of prime mover at Jurong Port Road, causes traffic jam

A crawler machine fell off a prime mover at the junction of Jurong Port Road and Jalan Buroh on Monday afternoon (Mar 4).

Stompers Mark and Ian alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos they took of the fallen vehicle.

The accident caused a traffic jam along Jurong Port Road.

"Jurong Pier to Jurong Port Road was impassable to all traffic due to the overturned vehicle," said Mark.

"The machine toppled onto the road, causing moderate traffic in the area," said Ian, who told Stomp he saw police and an ambulance on site.

In response to a Stomp media query, the police said it was alerted to an accident involving a crawler machine dislodged from a prime mover at about 2.21pm.

"No one was injured," a police spokesman said.
