Crane topples over at landed estate in MacPherson

Stomper Nuraishah was on her way to fetch her sister from school when she saw a crane that had fallen over at Jalan Chengkek in MacPherson around 5pm.

In the photos that she had submitted, it can be seen that the crane toppled over into trees located at the side of the road. 

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that they were first alerted to the incident at 5.30pm.

Stomp understands that the crane hit the top of a bungalow that was under renovation.

It is unclear what happened to the crane driver but no injuries were reported, according to the SCDF.
