A child was dragged along a road as a 61-year-old man was hit by a car in Bukit Batok at 5.34pm on Thursday (Sep 5).
A video of the accident was uploaded onto a Facebook page, SG Road Vigilante.
In the video, a white car can be seen turning right as a male adult crosses a road while holding hands with a child.
The car collides with the adult and the child is dragged along the road as they are still holding hands.
Crying can also be heard in the video.
Responding to a Stomp query, the police said: "At 5.34pm on Sep 5, the police were alerted to an accident involving a car and two pedestrians at the junction of Bukit Batok East Avenue 6 and Bukit Batok Street 23.
"A 61-year-old male pedestrian, was conscious when conveyed to National University Hospital.
"Police investigations are ongoing."
