Car skids and crashes on PIE, driver assisting police with investigations

A 26-year-old man is assisting police with investigations after his car skidded and crashed along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Changi Airport on Dec 5.

Stomper Mark alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video of police officers at the scene after Whitley Road.

A white car is seen on the far-right side of the expressway.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 9.50pm.

The car is believed to have self-skidded, a police spokesperson said.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
