A 27-year-old man was conscious when taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident involving a car and a bus at the junction of Serangoon Road and Belilios Road on Nov 25.

A 39-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations, the police told Stomp.

Stomper Wei Sien alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video he took of the scene in front of the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple in Little India.

In the clip, pedestrians are seen making their way around a grey car. The front of it is severely damaged.

An SBS Transit bus is seen parked by the side of the road. The left side of the bus is badly scraped.

Mrs Grace Wu, an SBS Transit spokesperson, told Stomp: "On Nov 25, at about 8pm, a service 65 bus was travelling straight on the bus lane along Serangoon Road when it was hit by a car which had exited from a side road without any warning."

No one onboard was injured and the bus did not come into any contact with any other vehicle or pedestrian following the incident.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car, a bus and a pedestrian at about 7.55pm.

"A 27-year-old man was conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesperson said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
