Car making right turn smashes into another at Hougang junction, both drivers taken to hospital

A car crashed into another at the junction of Hougang Avenue 10 and Hougang Avenue 8 on Friday morning (May 19).

A Stomper shared a dash cam video of the collision at 8.19am.

The video shows a car making a right turn at the junction and smashing into another car that was coming from the opposite direction.

In response to a Stomp, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the road traffic accident at about 8.20am and took two people to Sengkang General Hospital.

When contacted by Stomp, the police said a 56-year-old male car driver and a 22-year-old female car driver were conscious when taken to the hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
