An elderly car driver and his passenger were taken to the hospital after an accident involving a car, a taxi and a lorry on the Tampines Expressway (TPE) on Tuesday (June 27).
Sharing a video of the three vehicles after the collision, Stomper Francis said there was a heavy downpour that morning.
"It's safer to drive slowly and keep left during heavy rain because the road is slippery and visibility is limited," said the Stomper.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at 10.53am to the accident along TPE towards the Pan-Island Expressway.
The 79-year-old male car driver and his 80-year-old female passenger were conscious when taken to the hospital.
A 69-year-old male taxi driver is assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
