An 83-year-old man is assisting the police with investigations after the car he was driving crashed into a walkway railing following a collision with a motorcycle at the junction of Lower Delta Road and Telok Blangah Way on Tuesday afternoon (Oct 17).

The 40-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when taken to hospital, the police told Stomp.

A police spokesperson said the police were alerted to the accident at 4pm.

Stompers Ronnie and Terence alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of a white car on a grass patch.

"I was on my way home when I saw a car had wrecked the passageway and its parts were scattered," said Terence.

Ronnie added that the car was in front of Block 33 Telok Blangah Way and shared photos of paramedics at the scene.

Police investigations are ongoing.
