Cabby assisting with police investigations after crashing into Hougang void deck

A 56-year-old cabby is assisting with police investigations after crashing his taxi into a void deck at Block 831 Hougang Central on Tuesday afternoon (May 9).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a taxi and a lorry at around 2pm.

Stomp understands that no one was in the lorry at the time of the incident.

Stomper KL shared a photo showing the ComfortDelGro taxi in a state of damage after crashing into a pillar at the void deck.

He said: "I saw police officers talking to the people at the scene."
