Cabby and cyclist involved in fight at Sin Ming Walk assisting police with investigations

Two men, aged 29 and 51, are assisting police with investigations after they were allegedly involved in a fight along Sin Ming Walk on Thursday night (Mar 16).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video of the two men having a 'confrontation' in front of Bright Hill MRT Station.

A bicycle is seen lying on the pavement as the duo go back and forth repeatedly. One of them even charges at the other at one point.

"I didn't see what triggered this but the cyclist left the scene shortly after this was recorded," the Stomper said.

"The driver of the taxi kicked the bicycle over earlier.

"Police arrived about 10 minutes later."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the fight at 10.30pm.

"The 51-year-old man sustained minor injuries but refused conveyance," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
