65-year-old man found dead in car at Yishun Street 21

A 65-year-old man was found dead in a car at Block 233 Yishun Street 21 on Wednesday (Apr 12).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the case of unnatural death at 6.04pm.

They added: "A 65-year-old man was pronounced dead at scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic.

"Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play."

Stomper Ah Boy shared a photo showing the car being cordoned off by police and officers at the scene.

He said: "The car had a P-plate.

"I heard someone saying that the driver was lying slanted to the left, towards the passenger seat. He was taken away in a CSI van. I also heard people at a nearby coffee shop saying that he was a resident in the area."

Police investigations are ongoing.
