AVS looking into case of dog allegedly attacking Stomper's 4-year-old son at Christmas Wonderland

The Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) is looking into a case in which a four-year-old boy was allegedly bitten by a dog at Christmas Wonderland.

Stomper Cynthia said the unprovoked attack occurred at Gardens by the Bay on Dec 12, at around 9.45pm.

In an earlier Stomp report, she recounted how a small black dog had "pounced" on her son and bitten his outer left thigh.

She also said that the dog owner refused to take responsibility and has lodged a police report.

AVS group director Jessica Kwok told Stomp in a statement: "AVS, a cluster of the National Parks Board (NParks), is aware of an alleged incident involving a boy and a dog that took place on Dec 12 at Gardens by the Bay, and is looking into the matter."
