Actress Jayley Woo's heartbreaking tribute to Aloysius Pang: 'My world is gone'

Local celebrity Jayley Woo posted a heartbreaking tribute to actor Aloysius Pang, who died after sustaining severe injuries during a military exercise in New Zealand.

Pang, 28, succumbed to his injuries at Waikato Hospital at 8.45pm Singapore time on Wednesday (Jan 23) despite surgical attempts to repair his damaged organs and putting him on artificial life support.

In an Instagram post with the hashtag '#我的世界没了' (my world is gone), 27-year-old Woo wrote: "You'll always be a part of me, my man. 我们来生见 (we'll meet again in our next lives), till death do us apart baby boy."

She said:

To my dearest you,
August 24 is your birthday
January 4 is a special day of ours
January 24 you left me without a word
Leaving behind only your cold and hard hands
Why is it such a coincidence that my favourite number is four
Why did you heartlessly leave me behind
How could you bear to leave this world
Why do you treat me this way

I’m not fortunate enough to be your wife in this lifetime
We must be man and wife in our next lifetime
I love you, I really really love you
Thank you for taking care of me all these years
Loving you forever, please go in peace
Come to me in my dreams often, understand
Also, I will never forgive you in this lifetime

The post was accompanied by a photo of Woo and Pang, and another picture of what appears to be Woo holding on to Pang's hand in hospital.

The two had never acknowledged their relationship in the media, but Woo revealed in an Instagram Story that they were waiting till when they got married to go public.

She also said: "Dear media friends, I am not going to answer any of your questions.

"Please let me have this last memory of me and him. Please understand.

"All I can say is, we wanted to wait till we got married before going public.

"That's all. Thank you, everyone."
