An 89-year-old man was taken to hospital after the bus he was travelling in was involved in an accident with a car at the junction of Victoria Street and Rochor Road on Thursday afternoon (Jun 28).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and a video he took at the scene.

In the photos, a man is seen being wheeled on a stretcher by paramedics next to a Go-Ahead double-decker bus. His head is bandaged.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 4.26pm.

"One of the bus passengers, an 89-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to Raffles Hospital," a police spokesman said.
