A 71-year-old man was taken to hospital after getting hit by a car at a road junction in Serangoon North on Wednesday evening (July 31).
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a pedestrian at the junction of Serangoon North Avenue 5 and Serangoon North Avenue 6 at 6.08pm.
The pedestrian was unconscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Stomper Andrea, a resident in the vicinity, contributed photos of the scene.
She told Stomp: "I heard the loud wailing sound of an ambulance so I went to the corridor to see what had happened.
"I saw a man laying motionlessly on the floor and a car was behind him.
"The car was dented so I guess the impact must have been quite huge.
"There was also a pool of blood on the ground.
"Paramedics were helping the man onto a stretcher."
Police investigations are ongoing.
