59-year-old woman taken to hospital after accident involving car and tipper truck in Clementi

A 59-year-old female car driver was taken to hospital after an accident with a tipper truck along Clementi Avenue 6 towards the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Thursday (Oct 8).

A Stomper was driving by when he saw the accident scene and took photos of the damaged vehicles.

"I was driving along Clementi Avenue 6 when I saw that there had been an accident," the Stomper said.

"It does not look like there were any serious injuries."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 5.09pm.

"The 59-year-old female car driver was conscious when conveyed to National University Hospital," the police spokesman added.

Police investigations are ongoing.
