A 43-year-old man has been arrested for the suspected murder of another man in Punggol.
The police said in a statement on Wednesday (July 14) that they were alerted to a stabbing case at a residential unit along Sumang Walk at about 3am.
Police officers found a 46-year-old man with multiple wounds, lying motionless outside the residential unit.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations revealed that both men knew each other.
The 43-year-old man will be charged in court on Friday (July 16) with murder.
The offence carries the death penalty.
Police investigations are ongoing.
