40-year-old woman arrested for drink driving after motorcycle accident on CTE

A 40-year-old woman was arrested for suspected drink driving after the motorcycle she was riding was involved in an accident along the Central Expressway (CTE) on Saturday evening (July 24).

Stompers Freddie and Anonymous alerted Stomp to the incident and shared videos and photos of the incident.

Paramedics and police officers were seen surrounding someone lying on the road.

Stomp understands the van at the scene was not involved in the accident.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident along the CTE towards the Seletar Expressway (SLE), before Moulmein Road exit at 8.44pm.

"The 40-year-old female motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

"She was subsequently arrested for suspected drink-driving."

Police investigations are ongoing.
