2 men arrested after allegedly trying to pawn fake ring at Jurong West pawnshop

Two men, aged 33 and 56, were arrested after allegedly trying to pawn a fake ring at a pawnshop located along Jurong West Street 93 on Friday (Feb 7).
They were nabbed after police received a report about the incident and responded to the case.
The men were charged in court on Saturday with cheating with common intention, which is punishable with a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine.
Pawnshop proprietors are advised to be vigilant against possible scams.
