About 150 people were evacuated after a fire broke out in a flat at Block 2 Jalan Batu on Tuesday morning (June 30).
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a fire involving the contents of a bedroom in a sixth-floor unit at around 9.20am.
Stomper Noel shared with Stomp a video showing smoke billowing out from one of the units in the block. Another Stomper shared photos of several SCDF vehicles at the scene.
The fire was extinguished using one water jet and one compressed air foam (CAF) backpack, an SCDF spokesman told Stomp.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of fire is under investigation.
