13 men arrested for rioting at Geylang Road

Thirteen men were arrested for their suspected involvement in a case of rioting along Geylang Road.

The police said in a statement that they received reports of a fight at 517 Geylang Road on Sunday (June 16) at about 3am.

The men, aged between 18 and 23, were subsequently arrested.

Investigations are ongoing.

Anyone convicted of rioting may be jailed for up to seven years and caned.
