A 27-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after he was hit by a Mercedes-Benz car along Toa Payoh Lorong 1 towards Toa Payoh Lorong 6 on Wednesday evening (June 17).
A Stomper alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was posted on ROADS.sg's YouTube page.
In the video, the rider is seen stopping to make way for a vehicle coming from his right when he was hit from behind by the Merc.
In photos included in the footage, the rider is seen lying on the ground as passers-by stop to help.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 9.41pm.
"The 27-year-old motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to Singapore General Hospital," a police spokesman said.
Police investigations are ongoing.
