Biker sent flying after crashing into turning car at Serangoon Avenue 3

A motorcyclist was left writhing in pain on the road after slamming into a turning car at Serangoon Avenue 3 at 8.40am on Wednesday (April 26).

A video of the shocking accident was shared on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road by Leon Choong.

The clip shows a car driver making a turn at a traffic junction between Serangoon Avenue 3 and Lorong Chuan.

However, a motorcyclist slams into the right side of the car, the impact of which sends the biker flying over the car and landing on the other side of the vehicle.

As the rider lies writhing in pain, pedestrians and motorists rush to his aid, along with the driver of the car involved in the accident.

According to the caption on the Beh Chia Lor post, the motorcycle had a Johor Bahru licence plate number and the car was a Toyota Vios.

Many netizens also pointed out that both the car driver and the biker were in the wrong.

They stated that the rider was speeding and the traffic light was showing amber, while the driver did not yet have the right of way to turn yet.
