Girls from Stomp's Get Inspired section featured in Shanmugam's new year video

Two primary school girls who were on Stomp's Get Inspired section for returning a wallet containing $1,500 were featured in Home Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam's new year video.

Primary six students Chelsea Oh and Ng Si Hui did an interview with Stomp on March 6 last year where they told Stomp they were humbled by the praise they received from netizens.

In K Shanmugam's new year video posted to Facebook on New Year's Eve , the Home Affairs and Law Minister outlined the changes to Nee Soon in the past year, citing examples of projects that had to come fruition, such as Northpoint City and Yishun Park Hawker Centre.

He then went on to reference the two primary six girls who were featured on Stomp as examples of everyday heroes.

"The desire to do the right thing, really makes us proud. Looking forward, the sense of belonging will continue to be strong in Nee Soon and we can look forward to a brighter 2018 with all your support," concluded Shanmugam.
