Tailgating motorcyclist gets 'punished' by gantry for trying to evade parking fee

Karma is very much real, as one motorcyclist can tell you.

A video posted by Facebook page SG Road Vigilante shows a motorcyclist getting his just deserts for tailgating a car through a carpark gantry.

The incident occurred at Block 481 Jurong West Street 41 on Monday (Oct 4), at around 11.15am.

In the video, the motorcyclist can be seen tailgating a vehicle to avoid paying for parking. However, he learns a painful lesson when the gantry barrier arm comes down and hits him on the head instead.

Netizens expressed amusement over the video, with many calling the motorcyclist a "cheapstake" who "deserved it".

Some also said it was fortunate that he had his helmet on.
