A Stomper was horrified after seeing "tomb-like" structures at Block 41 Chai Chee Street on Tuesday (Sep 17).

Stomper Des said: "I was horrified at these tomb-like items. I looked out of my house window and saw them.

"I don't know what these are but they're kind of scary to me."

Responding to a Stomp query, a Marine Parade Town Council spokesperson said: "We would like to clarify that those structures are planter boxes for the upcoming community garden at Block 41 Chai Chee Street.

"The design is in the consultation of the community’s gardening interest group.

"At the moment, works are still in progress. We thank the reader for her feedback.

"She may approach our Town Council to discuss her concern with us further."
