SFA recalls another meat charcuterie product from the US on fears of salmonella

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has extended its recall to include an additional ready-to-eat meat charcuterie product from the United States due to the possible presence of Salmonella.

SFA has directed Cold Storage to recall Busetto's Antipasto Classico (340g).

The implicated product has an expiry date of Apr 30, 2024. The recall is ongoing.

Salmonella is a pathogenic bacteria that can cause food poisoning. Symptoms may include diarrhoea, abdominal pain, fever, nausea and vomiting.

Consumers who have purchased the implicated product are advised not to consume it.

Those who have consumed and have concerns about their health should seek medical advice. Consumers may contact their point of purchase for enquiries.

On Feb 16, SFA directed Indoguna (Singapore) to recall two other meat products, Beretta Antipasto (6 oz) and Beretta Coppa (4 oz) -- also from the US.
