Schoolboy dashes across road while traffic lights are in favour of vehicles in Punggol

A schoolboy was caught on video dashing across a road in Punggol while a red man was showing.

A Stomper shared dashcam footage of the incident that occurred at the junction of Edgedale Plains and Punggol Field on Tuesday (Mar 28).

"My wife encountered a boy that dashed across the road when the light was in favour of cars," he said.

"She was driving along the road after dropping off our daughter.

"She was turning right from Edgedale Plains onto Punggol Field towards Punggol Plaza when this boy just dashed across the road, not even looking for oncoming vehicles from both sides of the road.

"Lucky everyone noticed him.

"If not, this boy may have been seriously hurt."
