Motorcycle goes up in flames after biker parks it along Moulmein Road

A motorcycle caught fire along Moulmein Road yesterday (Jun 9) at around 5pm.

According to The Straits Times, the rider had noticed that there was something wrong with his vehicle and parked it by the side of the road.

Thereafter, the motorcycle caught fire and eventually got engulfed in flames.

The SCDF were alerted to the incident at around 5.25pm and dispatched a fire engine, a Red Rhino and a fire bike to the scene.

SCDF personnel then put out the fire with a compressed foam pack.

There were no reported injuries.
